It’s a rock concert in 1935 coal-mining country, Kentucky. Residents get on as best they can; fighting the devil, cracking jokes, staying alive. When faced with the disappearance of a beloved invalid woman, residents look for something more tangible to blame—her own daughter. Murder? Possession? Something else altogether? Razor Creek is a folk-rock, sci-fi musical about overcoming generational trauma and finding something to sing about…in tight pants.
