I am a lighting designer, production electrician, and artist based in New York, New York. A proud graduate of the University of Iowa & midwesterner at heart.

I use light as an abstracted storytelling device that disrupts conventional time & place; I seek to reshape our associations of what light “is”. I explore the use of emotion as a narrative device.

Primarily designing for theatre & dance, I enjoy bringing new stories to life & reimagining classics through an ultramodern lens.

Above all, I seek to create universal performance experiences for everyone to enjoy. My background primarily lies in the production of new works & collectively created pieces. Collaboration, love, impulse, & experimentation are key elements of my work.

In my free time, you can find me painting, doing puzzles, exploring parks & waterfronts, building my collection of antique lamps, and researching the NYC subway system.
